Preston Becker, MFT
Experience
I work with with clients on a number of issues, including:
Relationship issues (family and romantic)
Depression
Anxiety
Grief & loss
Substance abuse
Trauma
Life transitions
Self-esteem
Workplace and career issues
I completed both my traineeship and post-Masters clinical internship with the Student Intervention Team of the San Francisco Unified School District. In my time working within SFUSD, I came to recognize the appalling lack of role models for many of the City’s underserved and at-risk youth. To help these children in a broader way, I joined the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area. I rolled off the board as Vice Chairman.

Our Work Together
Helping you discover meaning and peace in your life is my passion and privilege. If you are feeling your worst, you can also be on the verge of being at your best – if you are willing to take risks and peer behind the curtains of your life. My job is to help you navigate this journey and provide a safe arena for some of life’s most personal and rewarding discoveries. I work individually with adults and teens on a many issues, but I especially value working with clients seeking to recover from life’s adversity.
